Year 3 boys have been having a blast exploring the fascinating world of forces in Science.
They delved into the life and work of Isaac Newton, discovering his groundbreaking theory of gravity. The boys also learned how to measure the force (in newtons) required to lift various items, such as books and toys, and carefully recorded their findings.
Their curiosity didn’t stop there. They then investigated friction by examining which surfaces generate the most resistance. To share their newfound knowledge, they created informative posters showcasing all the amazing facts they uncovered.
Next up, the boys turn their attention to friction in the air and on water. They will be investigating air resistance, aerodynamics and the buoyancy of different objects.
