Our Prep runners had a superb Middle Schools District
Cross-Country Championships on Thursday 29th January.
The Y6 boys raced first and thanks to an outstanding team
performance secured 1st place. The leading runners were Tom Deardon (4th),
Robert Parrish (5th) and Bryn O’Dell (8th), who were ably supported by the rest
of the team.
The Y7 team were next off and a concerted effort by the team
resulted in a 5th place finish, with the leading runners being Nicholas
Challacombe (25th) and James Deardon (29th).
The Y8s finished the racing and an improved effort enabled them to
claim 4th place, with their leading runners being Alex Walker (14th)
& Tobias Todd (15th).
The combined team scores resulted in 3rd place for
Bedford Prep in the Overall competition. Well done to everyone who ran
and competed so strongly!
