Harry Potter, Cat in a Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, Fantastic Mr Fox, Robin Hood and many more famous literary characters were in attendance on Thursday 1 March as our Prep boys celebrated their favourite characters for World Book Day 2018.
Not only were there costumes galore (including Mrs Carrington and Mr Maitland as superb pink and blue crayons), but the boys were invited to ‘Share a Story’.
We enjoyed reviews and readings by the boys from their favourite books, as well as fun themed lunch with dishes from all over the world and wonderful creations literature, including Dr Seuss’ ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ and the infamous chocolate fudge cake from Roald Dahl’s Matilda.
