We were delighted
to hear that Mark Roberts (64-69) has recently published a book of watercolours
of Hong Kong. A copy of this was presented to Bedford School through the
Head Master at the recent 125th Anniversary Celebrations of the Old Bedfordian
Club in Hong Kong. Mark retired as a lawyer in Hong Kong, where he has resided
for almost 40 years, to pursue a second career as an artist. He has used his
artistic talent to raise money for charity and, to date, has raised an
impressive £5,000 for a Mongolian Orphans Charity through book sales.
This month sees
him showcase his 13th Art Exhibition in the area – something our Hong Kong OBs
with penchant for art may wish to attend.
