Boys in Y3 were transported to Ancient Egypt during a fun themed day on Friday 19 October.
The boys took a step back in time to discover what happens after the death of a mighty pharaoh, including tomb building, the mummification process, burial ceremonies and, finally, the crowning of the new Pharaoh.
The boys also enjoyed a lesson in basic maths the Egyptian way, a game of Hounds and Jackals: an Egyptian board game and an Egyptian themed quiz, as well as looking at fascinating artefacts to find out even more about the Egyptian way of life.
