The U12A enjoyed a superb win against Northants CCC U12 on Monday 5 June. Due to the poor weather forecast the game was reduced to a T20 fixture.
Bedford School won the toss and elected to bat, setting a healthy target of 143-4 with Vedant Somal scoring a superb 50 and he was well supported by Charlie Blythman’s 37 not out off just 28 balls. In reply, Northants struggled to keep up with the run rate due to some fine bowling. Sam Walker was the pick of the bowlers as he took 4 wickets for 26 runs.
