We are delighted to see Ethan Vernon (L6) go from
strength to strength in the velodrome.
Ethan recently returned from the Netherlands where he
represented the British Cycling Junior Academy in the Junior European
Track Series. He came an impressive 5th in the madison (2 riders), 3rd in the
elimination (single rider) and 1st in the team pursuit (four riders).
Currently in the first year of the two year Junior Academy,
Ethan has set his sights on selection for the Senior Academy
in August next year. We wish him the very best with his intensive
training, which often includes a cycle ride from Barton Le Clay via
Cambridge to school most Saturdays – some 90 miles!
