Thanks to the generous support of the Harpur Trust, BedPop Fun Palaces presents this powerful, passionate and magical production of Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
By bringing together artists from Africa and Europe, this fast-paced, urban and exciting performance brings the best from both continents to both entertain and move audiences. The Tempest is supported by Africa Express and Arts Council England.
Featuring stunning contemporary African choreography from Shyne Phiri, an original soundtrack which samples traditional Malawian music, and live music, this show is full of humour and movement.
BedPop Fun Palaces is an annual celebration of art, science and culture and all events are free to participate in. Thanks to BedPop’s partnership with the Harpur Trust, tickets to this performance and the workshops are free, but are limited to five per group.
