Hot on the heels of the Great British Bake Off, Bedford Prep and Bedford Girls’ School pupils had fun with their very own Great Bedford Bake Off!
The Year 4 pupils rolled up their sleeves and donned their aprons for an afternoon of baking, creating dazzling ‘Fireworks’ cupcakes to mark Bonfire Night. From mixing and baking to decorating with flair, teamwork was the secret ingredient that impressed everyone—including Head Judge Mrs Clare, who declared it impossible to pick a winner!
The fun did not stop at cupcakes. Pupils also tested their knowledge in a fireworks-themed quiz, adding sparks of learning to the day.
Everyone left with boxes of delicious treats and plenty of new knowledge to light up the night sky—the perfect recipe to celebrate.
