What better way to come together to spark friendships and build teamwork skills than with some ingenious and laugh-out-loud challenges?
On Friday 26 September, our Year 6 boys teamed up with girls from Bedford Girls’ School for a morning of Taskmaster-style fun. First up: a duck hunt. Sounds simple—until you realise there are 86 tiny rubber ducks hidden in the most devious and cunning corners of the playground!
Next, the pupils split into groups to tackle a trio of creative tasks:
- Snap the most mind-bending illusion photo
- Invent a handshake with at least six distinct moves
- Choreograph a dance that is full of flair
Throughout the morning, four golden rules kept the energy high and the spirits even higher:
- Be respectful
- Be creative
- Work as a team
- Remember, mistakes do not matter
It was a brilliant blend of imagination, laughter and collaboration—and a perfect way to reconnect and make new friends.
