Boys, parents and staff were treated to a wonderful celebration of music in the Great Hall on Thursday 28 June from all the main ensembles in the Prep School.
Highlights of the evening included a highly-entertaining return to the stage for El Bandito as the boys performed two songs from the brilliant ‘Double or Nothing‘, a great performance of Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy‘, the wonderful summer sounds of the steel pans, and a rousing rendition of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean‘ in the grand finale.
It was a joy to see boys of all ages and abilities taking to the stage to perform, as well as the tremendous energy and enthusiasm of their teachers who joined them in the concert. The concert proved a perfect mix of old and new, and as we walked away, with the sun setting on the glorious summer’s evening, we simply could not imagine a more enjoyable evening.
