The Prep
School 1st VII had a very good term, demonstrating huge commitment and
developing, as a unit, throughout a challenging season. Following a
disappointing quarter final exit in the Dulwich Sevens Plate competition, the
boys reached the quarter final of a very strong Millfield Cup competition.
Their
season culminated in an outstanding performance, in the Rosslyn Park National
Sevens. The team reached the semi-final, beating Millfield, The Dragon and a
very strong Feltonfleet side en route, before losing to eventual winners,
Caldicott. To perform so well, against schools who commit a huge amount more
time and resources to their sevens, was truly commendable!
