On Thursday 4th May OBs gathered at Bishops Square in the City for a most enjoyable networking event kindly hosted by Matthew Hartley (77-83) at the offices of the international law firm, Allen & Overy. We were looked after very well, and it was good to meet several OBs who had not attended any OB events in the past. Although it was not the balmy evening we had hoped for, we did venture on to the garden terrace and the views across the city skyline were most impressive. It was good to learn a little about the work of Allen and Overy; with a General Election looming along with Brexit and the end of the rugby and football seasons approaching there was, of course, a large variety of things to catch up on!
