Sachin Kambli may only be in Year 7 but a gap in the market and his enterprising outlook has led to him setting up his own business, Wood Reloved.

Sachin works with his sister on this exciting venture making products out of reclaimed wood such as garden furniture and bird boxes. He also upcycles furniture and sells the finished products locally at fairs and on eBay.

This stunning business idea developed from an old picnic bench that he restored using recycled roof timbers and customised to fit his Dad’s wheelchair. Sachin’s creative flair led to him experimenting with the left-over wood and realising that there was business potential.

Wood Reloved has gone from strength to strength and appeared on CBBC’s Pocket Money Pitch in February earlier this year. Sachin impressively contributed half of the cost of his recent Bude school trip from his profits!

Congratulations Sachin! We are very excited to follow the progress of Wood Reloved.
