All week long, our Prep boys and staff have been showing their support for Movember and raising funds for the men’s health charity with excitement and enthusiasm.
Taking a ‘Mo-ment’ from their busy day, boys came together in the art studio on International Men’s Day to craft some fabulous moustaches ready for Friday’s Moustache Day.
The boys also created a Movember poster in the lunchtime session on Tuesday, which they signed and decorated with even more moustaches. Most importantly, the boys had conversations, led by our Global Citizen Group Ambassadors, around male role models, breaking stereotypes, emotions and mental health and how they, as boys, can make a positive difference in their community.
Wednesday saw over 90 boys busy baking up a storm—it was a scene to behold, and their brilliant baked moustache biscuits raised over £500 for Movember alone!
Whilst our Prep boys might not be growing real moustaches just yet, that did not stop them from joining in the fun on Friday. Every boy sported a handmade moustache, competing for the coveted class photo competition. Their marvellous moustaches raised both smiles and funds and clearly demonstrated their support for Movember and the Upper boys leading this year’s campaign.
Well done to all our Prep MoBros!
