With the sun shining, you could have been mistaken in thinking that spring, if not summer, had already arrived. Enthused by the signs of growth around the school estate and their garden, in particular, the gardening club redoubled their efforts this week by not only planting out heathers but also heading to DT to craft boxes for our feathered friends who will soon be nesting.

The ever-popular club, which appeals to boys of all ages, allows them to have a go at gardening, learn about where their food comes from, how to reduce waste, find out more about the wildlife around the estate and much more. We can’t wait to see what they will be doing next – but it looks like worms might have a story to tell.
