This term has been one of outstanding sporting success for two of our Year 8 pupils, Oliver and Nayan, who have both excelled in their respective sports.
Oliver has continued his exceptional form on the golf course, finishing the season ranked number one in Europe in the Under-12 category. His year has been marked by many impressive results, including: Looking ahead, Oliver has an exciting Christmas break planned, competing in the Quinta do Lago Junior Open in Portugal. Oliver’s Top Tip: Nayan has also had a fantastic season, finishing second in the National Series, earning promotion to Division 1. He also represented Luton Table Tennis Club in the British Clubs League Cadet competition, where he won every one of his games without dropping a set—9 games, 9 wins, 27 straight sets! Next up for Nayan is the final date of the National Series in Grantham in January, followed by an invitation to take part in England Futures Training Camp—a huge honour.
