Thursday saw our Y3 boys compete in their first-ever hockey festival at Stamford School. It was a fun afternoon with all players enjoying five 10-minute hockey matches. Every boy played and represented the school brilliantly. The improvement in their play and game was evident as all the boys learned from their match play throughout the afternoon.
Our U11 and U13 hockey teams enjoyed a superb fixture against Winchester House School, which produced six wins, two draws and only one loss. A great start to the season!
This week also saw boys taking on cross-country. Rishit Kumar came 11th in the Junior Boys’ Race (Y8-Y9), Archie Taylor 13th and Joshua Featherstone 14th in the Y7 Race. All three boys qualified for the County Cross Country finals thanks to their brilliant runs. Congratulations also to Arjun Sohal and Jasper Stone, who ran well in the Junior Boys Race.
Training and practice are always the keystone to success, to which our golf team can attest. Each week they can be found honing their skills at Bedford Golf Club with their golf pro, Richard Banks.
