Our 2025 leavers’ results are outstanding with over half of all exams graded A*/A.
The achievements of our 2025 leavers continue to impress.
More than half of all exam entries received top A*/A grades, and an exceptional 85% were awarded A*/B. These outcomes mark the strongest performance since the A-Level reforms of 2017 (excluding the pandemic years), and pave the way for our boys to embark on a remarkable array of courses at leading universities across the UK and beyond.*
The majority of boys will take up places at top universities and in a huge variety of disciplines (the most popular being degrees in medicine, engineering, physics, economics, philosophy and business), both in the UK and abroad, whilst degree apprenticeships have also become a regular pathway for several leavers each year.

Outstanding Destinations Beyond Bedford
The most popular university destinations include Durham, King’s College London, UCL, Bristol, Nottingham, Leeds, Loughborough, Newcastle, Birmingham and Exeter.
International destinations include prestigious universities such as the University of Michigan, South Mountain in Phoenix, Melbourne University, Universidad de Navarra, McGill University in Montreal and the world-renowned Hotelschool in The Hague, among others.
In addition, several boys have earned places on highly competitive Degree Apprenticeship schemes with leading global firms including Airbus, PWC and L’Oréal.
