Over dinner and drinks the Singapore OBs were delighted to welcome Nick Hopton (Head of English) to Singapore on the 14th March. It was another thoroughly by enjoyable OB Singapore dinner: good food and drinks, great company and the chance to hear more about the school from Nick.
In July, after 14 years of living in Singapore and 17 years on the road, James Brodie (77-88) will be returning to the UK with his family. James set up the Singapore OB Club and today due to James’ passion and kind hospitality it is an active and sociable club, meeting regularly and welcoming guests and new OBs to Singapore. We are truly thankful for all the work James has done for the OB Club in Singapore and wish him and his family well on their return to the UK.
The March dinner was also a chance for James to handover DVP responsibilities to Russell de Chernatony (98-03) who looks forward to more Singapore OB events and welcoming anybody travelling through Singapore. Welcome on board Russell!
