Boys from Bedford School joined forces with pupils from Bedford Modern and Bedford Girls’ School to help decorate two of the common rooms at the Night Shelter for homeless people run by The Kings Arms Project.

The pupils not only spent a full day decorating the two rooms, they also raised all the funds to purchase the paint, decorating materials and some soft furnishings by washing teachers’ cars the week before.  The Kings Arms Project were delighted with all their hard work, as were the pupils themselves.  Their great efforts will hopefully provide a relaxing a homely environment for the people who use the shelter and help them on their way to a brighter future.
