As we approach the end of the second week of the term, we are pleased to say that boys are finding their feet and settling well into school.

In Eagle House, our Prep boarders have been enjoying catching up with old friends, making new friends and trying out new activities. This time of year is always full of excitement, but this year has been even more so thanks to a new bundle of furry fun; Wikket, the puppy! Proving an instant hit, Wikket is not only a great new playmate for the boys, a source of laughter and fun but she is also a calming and reassuring influence, especially for boys away from home and their own pets for the first time.

Simon Lincoln, Housemaster, told us, “It has been a brilliant start to the year at Eagle House. All the boys have settled really well and we have already had lots of day boys joining before and after school which is great. The wraparound care is a great way to get a taste of the boarding experience.”

She’s a good dog! Trying not to laugh is hard.

Wraparound Care

It is also good to remember that Eagle House is not just for boarders, as it also offers a number of wrap-around care options open to all day boys in the Prep School.

Eagle House also offers an after-school session from 4.10pm to 7.30pm. Boys take part in a supervised prep session, enjoy an evening meal and have the opportunity to join a range of activities and groups. The cost for this session is £15.20.
