‘Saints Go Marching In’

George Furbank (13-15) and Fraser Dingwall (13-17) were on form to help Northampton Saints to win the Gallagher Premiership title after a ten-year wait, defeating Bath in a thrilling final at Twickenham Stadium.

The match was a close contest, with the Saints capitalising on an early red card for Bath’s Beno Obano. The Saints scored tries through Tommy Freeman and Ollie Sleightholme, while Bath responded with a try from Thomas du Toit.

In the first half, George made a crucial defensive play, preventing a potential score by Bath. He also played a key role in the Saints’ attack, setting up Freeman’s try and freeing Sleightholme for his score.

In the second half, the scores were levelled following a try from Bath’s Will Muir. However, the Saints regained the lead when Alex Mitchell crossed the line for a try, converted by George. Despite a late surge from Bath, the Saints held on to secure the Premiership title.

The match went down to the wire with the final score 25-21.
