The Prep School’s cross country team were in fine form for their first race of the season at Browns Wood, even if the weather wasn’t!

The Y6 team took on the course with great enthusiasm despite the rain. Edward Dagg quite comfortably came in first place, and his brother James came in third after a very close battle for the second spot. Oscar Jewers also ran well’ coming home in fifth, and Sam Mullany, a new member to the cross country team, came in eighth.

Seven Y8 boys also competed in the Cross Country School league. In the highly competitive and tough race, Tom Deardon raced well to cross the line in third.

Well done to all the boys who took part in the very wet and chilly race.

Next up: Boxend Cross Country on Friday 29 September.
