Surrounded by white-tipped mountains, blue skies and emerald green waters, a group of boys from our boat club spent an unforgettable week honing their rowing technique and ramping up their stamina at this year’s rowing training camp held in the stunning Swiss town of Sarnen, situated on the northern shores Lake Sarnen.
It wasn’t just rowing on the itinerary though. With upcoming exams, the boys also spent four hours each day revising but were also able to spend some well-earned downtime in the bowling alley, beach volleyball courts or in the outside gym.
