The 1st XV progressed through to the semi-final of the RFU Champions Trophy, with an emphatic 26-5 victory over Sherborne School on Thursday 15th October. In very difficult conditions the XV dominated the first half to score four tries (Fraser Dingwall – 2, Tunde Adewale and Jake Carter), supplemented by three conversions from the boot of Oliver Burgess, to take a 26-0 lead into the interval. A well organised and committed Sherborne side (who were previously unbeaten this season) came back into the game, to pull one score back, but it was never going to be enough to threaten a Bedford win. The draw for the semi-final will take place on Monday.  Potential opponents are: Sedbergh, Blundell's and Epsom.

The XV completed the half term with an impressive six wins from six outings, scoring 237 points and conceding only 37.

Full back Fraser Dingwall is top try scorer with seven and fly half Oliver Burgess leads the points scoring with 55.
