After a two stage selection process, Upper Sixth Formers Alfie Orchard, Reni Omotomilola and Aaron Borland, were selected for the Independent Schools RFC Lambs U18 squad.

The Lambs ISRFC was set up to promote traditional rugby values and a ‘Corinthian’ spirit: to play unreserved ‘heads up’ running rugby in a fast and expansive style, which is player rather than coach-led, or ‘fast and free’ as they are often heard quoting.

The Lambs U18s have played three matches of the season so far, and Alfie and Reni have showcased their rugby capability in style. Alfie has been heavily influential playing at fly half and co-captain, and Reni had his first game last week and scored a wonderful length of the field try. Aaron was hampered by injury at the start of the season and so his first match is this Sunday against Boys Club of Wales where he will play alongside Alfie.

We wish the boys well for the rest of the season and we look forward to following your progress.
