Tuesday’s music workshop was the perfect event for all our boys who love the recorder. Our Y3 and Y4 boys, together with pupils from St James’ School, Bromham Primary, Biddenham School and Bedford Modern School enjoyed a ‘play’ afternoon with Woodwork: a recorder consort consisting of recorder alumni of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
Pupils enjoyed a colourful performance of music from Woodwork, ranging from the medieval period to the modern day, before playing in a whole group workshop. After rehearsals, it was time for the young musicians to showcase their efforts with a concert, which was quite simply recorder-tastic!
