In a celebration of music, the Prep School wrapped up the first half of the spring term in style with their annual House Singing competition.

The boys were in superb voice in the Great Hall on Friday 9 February and made the job of this year’s judge, Kate Davis, Director of Music and Head of Girls at Edgeborough Prep School, very difficult indeed. However, after some deliberation, she decided that Bunyan’s performance was the best in the part-song and Howard in the Unison Song.

The House positions were as follows:

Unison Cup

1st
2nd
2nd
4th

Howard
Bunyan
Harpur
Whitbread
Part Song Cup

1st
2nd
3rd
4th

Bunyan
Whitbread
Howard
Harpur

Head Master, Ian Silk, told us, “It is an absolute pleasure to listen the singing of the boys in the Prep School. The part-songs were excellent, and it was awe-inspiring to see the commitment made by all the boys in singing for their house in the Unison Songs. What a hugely talented group of boys – a great thank you to them for providing us with such amazing entertainment.”
