We enjoyed the final of the Poetry Recitation competition in the Erskine May Hall on Thursday 14 June 2019.
Joshua Tsang, Cayo Sinclair, Chris Gentry and Freddie Payne represented Y3. Berkley Barnicoat, Isaac Vincent-Emery, Isaac West, Sebastian Warner and Sammy Hughes represented Y4. Prejeev Suhitharan, Arnav Dhaliwal, Lewis Woodhouse, Cormac Hayes and Oliver Quince represented Y5. Elio Lepore, Ruairi Cassell, Dylan French, Jonathan Hall and Sam Deardon represented Y6.
The standard of the recitations was extremely high and the audience was witness to some very confident performances. Not one boy needed a prompt. Mrs Bell judged the competition and gave the boys some detailed feedback.
