Despite grey clouds, our Y3 boys were very excited about their lessons on Wednesday 16 May as they were all outdoors. Joining over a million and a half children from all around the world, the boys celebrated the fun of outdoor learning and play.

Their action-packed day was designed to provide the boys with a greater connection to nature as well as teach them life skills such as resilience, teamwork and creativity, but most of all it was designed to be fun.

The myriad of activities included making loo roll bird feeders and clay bird nests, pebble painting, pond dipping in our nature pond, sticklets, team games, a scavenger hunt and den building.

The day was all wrapped up with singing and marshmallows around the firepit. Fun was definitely had by one and all!
