We were delighted to welcome 540 local primary school children to the school on Thursday 29 June for an Orchestral Workshop, looking at Prokofiev’s ‘Peter and the Wolf’.
We introduced the children to the different sections of the orchestra, and then spoke about the different characters portrayed by different instruments in the piece ‘Peter and the Wolf’. Children then enjoyed a full performance of the piece, complete with narration by our Director of Music, Joss Sanders.
Lots of fun was had by all!
