Social Media Guidelines

These guidelines have been created to help the OB community enjoy interacting on social media platforms. They must be complied with and the Club reserves the right to remove any comment that does not, or ban users for persistent infractions. Remember you are talking to a real person, and be patient and polite.

Posts
Irrelevant, vulgar, offensive, illegal, threatening, abusive and harassing posts, including trolling, will not be tolerated. Posts relating to contests or promotions, hacking or phishing, promoting cruelty or criminal acts, pornography and spam will be deleted and the user blocked from participating in future. The Club will remove posts that may expose itself to legal issues including potentially libellous or defamatory postings. Links to external sites are acceptable as long as they aren’t commercially motivated, breaching copyright or to obscene, unlawful, spam or off-topic content.

Language
No swearing, and no racist, sexist, homophobic or other offensive or hate language is allowed.

Safety
Do not give out personal information including contact details, passwords or email addresses.

Images
Do not upload any media that is not yours, nor anything illegal or prohibited. Please only upload images that are relevant.

Community
Be courteous and considerate. We welcome discussions and expect users to help us keep them appropriate and report issues that may crop up so that the community remains a friendly place to converse.
