Next term, instead of our normal Summer Open Morning for prospective pupils and their families, we are running four small group open afternoons on Saturday 24th April, Saturday 8th May, Saturday 15th May and Saturday 22nd May and we are now looking for Y8 tour guides and specialist representatives. The boys would attend Saturday morning school as usual, have a school lunch and then be supervised in the Prep School until the first tour takes place at 1.00pm.

All of the Tour Guides will be responsible for touring one family around the Prep School at a time. They will sanitise their hands at the start of the tour, be supplied with a compulsory visor to wear and will be briefed about social distancing from their visitors. Your son would need to be collected from Burnaby Road after his tour, and the collection time will depend on which time slot he is allocated. We will ensure each boy knows his finish time beforehand.

All of the Specialist Representatives (for Art, Drama, Sport, Music and Animals) will be based in their chosen curriculum area and speak to individual families who are touring the school, whilst of course maintaining social distancing. Your son would need to be collected from Burnaby Road at 4.45pm.

If your son would like to volunteer for one or both of the roles, please complete the form below by Tuesday 20th April.

If your son signs up and is subsequently selected for a cricket fixture which clashes, we will try to replace him. Please also note that Saturday 15th May is during the assessment period which runs from Friday 14th – Wednesday 19th May.

Your son will be informed as to which date(s) he has been selected for; we will endeavour to give this leadership opportunity to all boys who put themselves forward.
