With everything that is going on at the moment, we are hoping to spread some Christmas cheer among the wider community. On the afternoon of Wednesday 9th December, the Y3 boys will be doing some carol singing to the residents of Airedale Nursing Home and Elcombe Nursing Home (weather permitting). We will be walking to each venue in our class bubbles. From a safe area outside the home, we will be sharing our Christmas cheer by singing a range of carols. We will not be entering the buildings. The boys can bring along a Christmas hat or headband to wear to add extra sparkle if they wish. We aim to be back on the school site by the end of the school day. Our carol singing gift fits perfectly with our Future Skills value of kindness and will hopefully remind the boys that small gestures can really mean a lot and be long remembered by the recipients. If you do not wish your son to participate in this activity, please contact your son’s tutor and alternative arrangements will be made for them.
