Games – start of term

The plan for the coming term is to run as close to a normal Autumn Term Games programme as possible. All Government and National Governing Body guidelines will be followed, and strict hygiene measures will always be adhered to.

Games for all boys will begin on Thursday 3rd September and therefore boys should come to school in the appropriate school kit on that day.

All boys should check their games allocation via their timetable on ISAMS (period 6 on Tuesday and Thursday).

If you are in the expected group, there is no need to do anything. If you would like to apply to change sport or have no allocation (parts 2 & 3 of only), boys should (via email):

  1. request release from the teacher in charge of their current sport (if applicable)
  2. request acceptance to the new sport, from the teacher in charge
  3. send email trail to BJB to process

At the start of term, there will be no inter-school fixtures. However, this will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. There will also be no extra-curricular sport (before school, lunchtime or after school) until routines and systems are embedded – again this will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.

The gym will also be closed until further notice.

If you have any issues or questions, please get in touch with Mr Burgess.
