Following the success of last year and the enthusiasm and generosity of the community, we are once again supporting the ‘Christmas in a Box’ appeal, run by Bedford Foodbank and All Nations Church, which aims to provide local people in crisis with hampers at Christmas. Last year’s ‘Christmas in a Box’ appeal helped to distribute over 830 boxes, reaching over 2,030 people in Bedford. This week each class has divided up the items on the suggested shopping list (items include a box of chocolates or a carton of custard for example) and we have asked each boy to contribute one or two items from the list, if possible. The items need to be in school by Thursday 3rd December at the very latest. We hope our efforts will not only help 25 local families but also raise awareness among the boys about the difficulty many families face at Christmas time, especially this year. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
