THE PYTHAGOREANS SOCIETY – Friday 22 March
4.35pm in A21
Boshi Xiao (University of Cambridge) will deliver a lecture titled ‘Graph Sketching’. Bring an electronic device with access to ‘Desmos’. Also bring pen and paper or electronic writing device. If you would like to come, then you must fill in this FORM.

ETHICS DEBATE – Friday 22 March
4.30pm-6.00pm at BGS
The topics will be ethics of technology in the modern and developing worlds. Computer Science students are strongly encouraged to attend, but the debate is also open to philosophy and RE students who are interested in discussing ethics. The debate will also be attended by students from BMS.

THE PUPIL CITIZENSHIP TEAM MEETING – Monday 25 March
1.00pm in L7
There will a chance to look at some of the results from the FLAIR survey, that was undertaken by the whole school last term, and discuss ideas we could put in place to support the school in its ongoing education around inclusion.  All year groups welcome and new members encouraged.

THE HISTORY SOCIETY – Monday 25 March

An exciting and entertaining talk will be given by Rocco Sarro and Andrew Wright on gangsters in the US in the early 20th century. As ever, all snacks provided will be purely intellectual.

THE ENGLISH SOCIETYWednesday 27 March

Bring a sports book that you want to put forward as perhaps the best that you have ever read and be ready to talk about why it works for you. All year groups welcome.

The YEAR GROUP ASSEMBLY on Wednesday 27 March is for the Upper Sixth Form and is in the EMH.
There is also an ADDITIONAL YEAR GROUP ASSEMBLY for the Lower Sixth Form in the Lower Gym.

The NEARLY NEW SHOP will temporarily relocate to the 2nd XII Pavilion (next to the Observatory) during the Easter holidays. Access to the shop will be via Pemberley Road.
It is hoped it will be fully functional by the first day of next term, however, if you need anything for Cricket before, we recommend that you visit the shop on Saturday 22nd or Monday 25th March before everything is packed for the move.
