BIOLOGY SOCIETY (Miss Bell)

On Tuesday 18th September, representatives from the University of Buckingham will give a talk on studying medicine.  Any student who is considering a medical degree is advised to attend in A21 at 4:15.  Please contact Miss Bell with any queries.

 

DRAMA SOCIETY (Mrs Keylock)

Drama Society- Our first Drama Society meeting will take place on Monday 17th September in the Quarry Studio at 1pm. Lunch is provided in the bar from 12.40pm. We are delighted that professional theatre director Alecky Blythe will be taking to boys about verbatim theatre. If you intend to come along, please email Mrs Keylock. All new members welcome.

 

CREATIVE ARTS CAREERS EVENING (Mrs Keylock)

Have you ever wondered what it would be like have a career in the creative arts working with media, technology, entrepreneurship, publishing, performing, designing, illustrating, auctioneering, writing, directing, acting, or composing? Come along to our Creative Arts Careers Evening on Tuesday 25th September from 6-8pm in the Great Hall at Bedford School. There will be talks and an opportunity to meet professionals working in all of these areas and more. Free Admission. For further information please speak to Mr Croker, Mrs Keylock or Mr Sanders.

 

CCF RECRUITS (Mr Tekell-Mellor)

All boys who have signed up for CCF this year must come to the CCF Office on Wed 19th at 1630 hrs.

 

CCF EQUIPMENT (Mr Tekell-Mellor)

All boys who attended the various camps and competitions over the summer must return their equipment to the stores this Wednesday.

 

CURRENT AFFAIRS SOCIETY (Ms Parcell)

The Current Affairs Society will meet next Monday after school at 4.30pm in D2.  We will be discussing recent development of British and American Politics.  All are welcome.

 

CREATIVE WRITING SOCIETY (Enoch Mukungu)

Creative Writing Society starts next Wednesday at lunchtime in R12. Enoch Mukungu will lead a session on how to start writing.  Come along if you have a story you wish to write, be it for school or as a hobby.  Open to all years.

 

GEOGRAPHY SOCIETY (Mr Ruta)

A call to all Sixth Form Geographers.  If you are interested in getting involved with the re-launch of the Geography Society, please come to a brief meeting in D10 on Tuesday at 1.10pm.  Contact Mr Ruta if you are unable to attend but still want to get involved.
