Boys in Y7 and above, and all staff members have been offered Lateral Flow Tests in school this week. From Monday, Government advice is for all children of Y7 age and above to take twice-weekly tests using a home test kit, and kits containing 3 tests will be provided at school for boys to take home. Boys can collect further test kits for their own use from school as required.  Individuals can decide when during the week they take the test with the only guidance being to test 3 to 5 days apart. Additionally, the Government has announced that LFD testing is now available to all households, childcare and support bubbles of nursery children, primary and secondary-age pupils and college students. Test kits should be obtained from a local collection point or can be ordered for home delivery using the links below, as they are not available through the school. Thank you, in advance, to parents for the forbearance and patience necessary to keep this going.

Reporting your test result

When taking a test at home, pupils should report their result to the NHS using the link NHS Link and also to school School Link , as in the event of a positive case, the school is responsible for the close contact tracing to identify further individuals who may need to self-isolate to help contain the infection.

I hope that this is all clear. However, if you have any questions on this, please write to or
