Our Y6 boys enjoyed a brilliant session on circus skills on Thursday 26 September.
In the fun session, the boys learned the skills of juggling, plate spinning, and the diabolo. Nikki from The Workshop Company guided the boys through each skill, breaking them down into manageable steps. Each took some practice, but boys soon mastered the basics of juggling and grew confident when doing tricks with the spinning plates and diablo.
It was great to see the boys having fun learning circus skills while improving their coordination, balance, concentration, teamwork and self-esteem.
The boys will make the most of their circus skills and experience in their next art project by creating sculptures of circus performers in wire and plaster.
