It’s hard to believe that it has been ten years since the Quarry Theatre first opened its doors to both the school and the wider Bedford Community. Since then, the theatre has hosted over 2,000 shows including school productions and visiting artists, and has welcomed visitors from across the globe. It has also become the home of Bedfringe, cementing its place as a vibrant cultural hub.
To celebrate this milestone, the school hosted a gala performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Friday 28th November for those who generously donated to the theatre project and who have the supported the school and the Quarry theatre over the years. The audience were spellbound by the exceptional performances from a talented cast and crew drawn from Bedford School, Bedford Girls’ School and Goldington Academy. It was a truly magical evening of wizardry, pyrotechnics and unforgettable fun!
