Team-Building fun with Bedford Girls’ School

Team-Building fun with Bedford Girls’ School

Our Year 8 boys joined pupils from Bedford Girls’ School for a lively, sun‑filled day of team building on Monday 27 May 2026. Working in mixed teams, the pupils tackled a series of fast‑paced challenges designed to stretch their problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills.

The activities were brilliantly inventive and just tricky enough to keep everyone on their toes. From coordinated efforts in Ski Patrol to strategic thinking in Ladder Golf, teamwork was key throughout. Clear communication and trust came to the fore in challenges such as Stack It, Wobble Board and The Floor is Lava, where planning, balance and encouragement made all the difference.

What looked simple at first quickly became absorbing and, at times, fiendishly difficult. The pupils showed real resilience, perseverance and kindness, cheering one another on and working together to succeed. The result was a fun, inclusive and energetic day, with great team spirit on show.

We greatly value on our partnership with Bedford Girls’ School, and days like this give boys and girls the chance to learn and grow together, build early friendships and develop the collaboration skills that matter inside and outside the classroom, and beyond.
