Parents from across the Bedford Prep School community came together for a fantastic evening of celebration at this year’s Prep Guild Carnival Ball, raising valuable funds to support the school.
The Prep Guild transformed the Great Hall into a vibrant carnival setting, bursting with colour, music and energy. Guests enjoyed welcome drinks while being treated to a wonderful piano performance by talented Upper School pupil, Elias.
A delicious carnival-inspired meal was enjoyed by all and professional samba dancers dazzled guests with a colourful and energetic performance before the DJ took over, ensuring the dance floor remained busy until the final song.
Alongside the festivities, parents generously supported the school’s fundraising efforts through a raffle and auction. Guests bid for an array of fantastic prizes, helping to raise significant funds that will benefit pupils across the Prep School.
Parents fully embraced the spirit of the occasion, making the event a memorable opportunity to strengthen friendships and celebrate all that makes the Bedford Prep community so special.
The Prep Guild would like to extend its thanks the Parents’ Guild for manning the bar, the Bedford School Association for its financial support, and everyone who attended, donated prizes, purchased raffle tickets or supported the auction. Their generosity and enthusiasm helped make the evening such a success, both as a fundraising event and as a memorable occasion for the school community.
The evening also provided an opportunity to recognise the outstanding work of our outgoing Chair, Melissa Morgan, who has dedicated eight years of service to the Prep Guild.
Filled with laughter, friendship, music and dancing, the Carnival Ball was a truly memorable evening and one that will be talked about for years to come.
