School’s Commitment to Anti-Bullying Week

School’s Commitment to Anti-Bullying Week

In a demonstration of unity and commitment, boys in the Upper School recently observed Anti-Bullying Week with a series of impactful activities. The lynchpin of the week was an assembly planned and delivered by three proactive boys, Isaac Johnson and Rory Stewart-Jones from the Remove Form, and Shreyan Patel from the Fourth Form.

During the assembly, the boys highlighted the importance of mutual respect and self-respect. They introduced a tutor time activity for all tutor groups to engage in throughout the week. This activity encouraged discussions on how boys can respect themselves and others, fostering a culture of kindness and understanding within the school.

To further support the cause, all boys were invited to wear wristbands, available from the Bell Room, as a symbol of their commitment to anti-bullying. These wristbands served as a visible reminder of the school’s collective effort to stand against bullying.

Looking ahead, all Fourth and Remove Form pupils will participate in Citizenship lessons next week, focusing on anti-bullying. These lessons aim to deepen boys’ understanding of the issue and equip them with the tools to effectively address and prevent bullying.

This initiative underscores our school’s dedication to creating a safe and respectful environment for all boys. By empowering boys to take an active role in promoting respect and kindness, we are building a community where everyone feels valued and supported.
