Bedford Prep 4th XI v Bishop’s Stortford
The Bedford Prep School 4th XI scored 93-1 in 15.2 overs to beat Bishop’s Stortford (89 all out in 19.3 overs) by nine wickets. Captain Will Sayer scored an impressive half century: 52 not out.
Bedford Prep 6th XI v Bishop’s Stortford
The 6th XI played their first match of the season against Bishop’s Stortford. Bedford prep batted first in the T20 fixture and posted a total of 141 for 3. Captain Henry Tyrer (36no) and Alex Iankov (29no) shared a wonderful 97 run partnership. Our boys accurate bowling limited Bishop’s Stortford to a total of 76 all out, to give the team a 65 run victory.
Bedford Prep U11 B v Bishop’s Stortford
The U11 B team beat Bishop’s Stortford by a superb 79 runs. Batting first, Bedford posting an impressive 145 runs from their 20 overs, including an well grafted 41 from Charlie Carey. Bishop’s Stortford made 66-8 in their allotted overs, with Eldon Craven bowling well taking 3 wickets for 4 runs.
Bedford U10 B v Milton Keynes Prep School
After a wise decision to bat first, Bedford posted an impressive 132 for 4 from 20 overs. Followed by some accurate bowling and tight fielding, recording 6 run outs, limited Milton Keynes Prep to just 40 runs. Victory by 92 runs. Man of the Match Aaron Berman.
