This year’s OB Sports Weekend delivered a fantastic showcase of talent, teamwork and school spirit, as OB’s returned to compete against current pupils across a packed schedule of fixtures. The programme featured hockey, rowing, squash, fives, football and target rifle shooting, creating an exciting atmosphere around the school grounds.
The OB teams enjoyed an exceptional run of success, securing victories in every sport except football, where they were narrowly edged out 2 – 1 in a closely contested match. The strong performances across the weekend highlighted both the enduring skill of our OB community and the enthusiasm of pupils who rose to the challenge.
We were delighted to welcome more than 70 Old Bedfordians back to the school to take part, reconnect with friends and cheer on their peers. It was fantastic to see Old Bedfordian brothers working together in several of the teams, as well as some sibling rivalry with an OB playing against their younger brother in the school team!
It was a memorable weekend full of competition and camaraderie.
