Our Y4 boys enjoyed becoming Romans for a day on Monday 18 November.
Suitably dressed in Roman costumes, they built and tested aqueducts, followed a traditional recipe to bake and enjoy delicious honey cakes and created and inscribed wax tablets, decoding and writing with the Latin alphabet symbols to experience Roman writing firsthand.
They also enjoyed themed word searches, mini quizzes and creating bookmarks.
It was a day filled with hands-on learning and fun, bringing history to life!
