Our General Knowledge Quiz team were victorious in the latest General Knowledge Quiz competition round.
The boys faced Stockport Grammar School in the latest online quiz round. Much like in University Challenge, the boys had to be quick on the buzzers to answer first. Success in answering a ‘starter’ question earned them three additional questions on the same topic.
The quiz covered topics from UK cities of culture to space to Beethoven, and the teams were neck and neck throughout. Still, the boys’ brilliant general knowledge, especially when it came to sums with fractions and musical terms, combined with brilliant teamwork, saw them ultimately take the win by 10 points.
