Our Y8 and Fourth Form boys had an enjoyable day discovering all about engineering and the many career opportunities on offer at the exciting festival of engineering: Engfest 2.0.
The boys could try anything from creating their own mobile apps to digital construction to becoming an F1 designer for the day during the fun, hands-on workshops; discover some of the worlds latest technologies changing the world and transforming lives in the exhibition; and hear from a range of inspirational speakers including Great British Bake-Off finalist and engineer or ‘Bakineer’, Andrew Smyth (pictured above with the boys).
