Easter 2026 Adventures

Easter 2026 Adventures

Over the Easter break, our Prep boys set off on two memorable European adventures: a French trip to northern France and a ski trip to the Austrian Alps.

French Adventure

From cafés to château, our Year 7 and 8 boys enjoyed five unforgettable days in northern France, immersing themselves in the language, culture, history and food.

Staying at the 18th century Château de Warsy, the boys embraced French life from the outset. Highlights included a boat trip along the Seine, taking in the sights of Paris and putting their French to practical use during language challenges in the markets and cafés of Amiens.

The trip also offered time for reflection, with visits to the Albert War Museum and the Thiepval Memorial. Here, boys searched for the names of Old Bedfordians and considered together the impact of the First World War on the region.

And, of course, food played its part. From artisanal chocolate (a firm favourite 🍫) to escargot for the more adventurous, the boys were willing to give everything a go.

Austrian Adventure

Meanwhile, in the Austrian Tirol, our skiers made the most of superb conditions both on and off the slopes. Over the week, boys developed their skiing skills, enjoying long, fun-filled days on the mountain.

Away from the pistes, there was plenty to look forward to too, with swimming, bowling and the ever popular Tyrolean evening rounding off the experience.

Boys on both trips returned home with a wealth of wonderful experiences, cultural insights, lessons learned and happy memories of fun-filled adventures.
